I’m now offering online trumpet lessons through Skype, so you can learn from the comfort of your home. They’re getting more and more popular for people who either don’t live in Austin, or don’t want to sit in the traffic!
Using the internet saves time sitting in the waiting room and driving to lessons. Instead, you just log onto Skype when it’s time for your lesson, I’ll call you to get started, and we can hop right into it.
Since we don’t have to cover the costs of travel and renting studio space, I can offer online private lessons at a discounted rate, saving you money.
Almost every modern computer comes with a high quality microphone and webcam. As long as you have a decent internet connection, microphone, and camera, I can see and hear everything I need in order to help you improve your trumpet skills.
Schedule a free consultation to see if online trumpet lessons are right for you.
We’ll discuss your current skill level, your goals, and what kind of schedule we could meet on in order to get you the results you want.
I have over a decade of teaching experience for the trumpet and as a general brass instructor. I mostly work with trumpet players, although my studio also has trombone, french horn, and tuba players.
I first started playing the trumpet at 12 years old in 6th grade. I was lucky enough to be in the jazz band, which really sparked my interested in mastering the trumpet to sound like the greats. I recognized the jazz standards from my childhood listening around my dad, and knew that I was in the right place.
My love and excitement for music kept me constantly practicing and improving, leading to sitting first chair in the all state jazz band during highschool. The experience of being around so many high level musicians and teachers led to my own interest in teaching.
Now I enjoy sharing my passion for music and teaching trumpet players of all skill levels and ages. My studio’s age range goes from 5 to 74, so it’s never too early or late to start.
